Privacy Policy

Cake Clerb is run by Wano Labs LLC (“we”). This explains what we collect, why, and your choices. Short version: everything you add is private to you, and we never sell your data.

What we collect

• Account details: email, display name and avatar. Passwords are stored only as a secure hash. With Sign in with Apple we receive the name and email Apple shares, which may be a private relay address.
• Your slices: cake photos, names, dates, the bakery, whether you’d have it again, tasting notes, and which of your dates a cake was for.
• Stickers and collections: which stickers you’ve won, on which day, and which collections you’ve finished.
• Dates to remember: names, dates (with the year, if you add one), favourite flavours, notes such as allergies, to-do lists and photos you attach.
• Bakeries and recipes: the bakery names you add to slices, and recipe text for cakes you baked.
• Purchases: whether you have Cake Clerb Pro and when it renews. Apple handles payment; we never see card details.
• Diagnostics: if you’ve agreed to share analytics with app developers on your iPhone, Apple sends us crash reports and performance data. They don’t identify you, and we never use them to advertise.
• Notifications: date reminders are scheduled on your phone, and only if you allow notifications.

Health information in notes

If you write allergies or dietary needs in a date’s notes, we store them only so you can see them. We don’t read, analyse or share them.

Camera and photos

We ask for camera or photo access only when you add a picture. Only the photos you choose are uploaded. We don’t scan your library, and we remove location data before storing photos.

Private by default

Nothing you add is public. A cake leaves the app only when you share its image yourself, for example through your phone’s share sheet.

How we use it

To run your account, store and sync your data across devices, send the reminders you ask for, process Pro, and fix problems. No selling, no third-party advertising, no tracking.

Who we share it with

Only services that help us run Cake Clerb, under contracts that limit their use: Supabase (database, storage, sign-in), RevenueCat (subscription status), Apple (sign-in, purchases and crash reports) and Cloudflare (this website). We’ll also share information if the law requires it or to protect someone’s safety.

Android waitlist

If you leave your email on this website, we use it only to tell you when Cake Clerb comes to Android. Email us to be removed.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data while your account is open. Delete it any time in Settings › Delete account. This permanently erases your account, slices, dates, bakeries, recipes, stickers and photos within 30 days (backups roll off within a further 30 days).

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your information, and object to or limit how we use it. Most of this is in the app; for anything else, email us. In the EU or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority.

Children

Cake Clerb isn’t directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we don’t knowingly collect their data. Tell us and we’ll remove it.

Security and storage

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest and stored in the United States (Oregon).
